About Course

Prerequisites

CompTIA Security+

  • A foundational understanding of IT concepts such as networking, operating systems, and security fundamentals is recommended.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in IT with a focus on security, though it is not mandatory.
  • A dedication to studying key topics such as network security, threat management, and risk management.

CISSP

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience in at least two of the eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), which includes:
  • If you don’t have the required 5 years of experience, you can still take the exam and earn the Associate of (ISC)² title. The experience can be gained over time after passing the exam.
  • Candidates should possess an in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security technologies.
  • Maintaining the CISSP certification requires earning Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits and adhering to the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.
